Standards
Editorial Standards.
How the content on this site is produced, verified, and corrected. Written down so it can be held against us.
Authorship
Everything published here is authored by Tyk Sullivan. The ideas, experience, positions, and judgment are his. AI tools may assist with research organization, editing, and structure — they do not replace the substance.
Verification
Biographical and business claims on this site are published only when Tyk can stand behind them. Claims awaiting documentation are held back until verified — a stricter standard than most personal websites apply.
Corrections
Material errors get corrected in place, with a dated correction note on the affected article. If you believe something here is inaccurate, email tyk@tyksullivan.com with subject “CORRECTION”.
Conflicts & disclosure
Tyk writes about industries he operates in. Where an article discusses a company he owns, advises, or has an economic interest in, that relationship is disclosed on the page. See the disclosures page.
Sources
Articles are grounded in first-hand operating experience. Where external facts, data, or research are used, they are attributed or linked. Nothing here is mass-produced content written to fill a feed.
Updates
Evergreen articles are reviewed and updated as thinking evolves; meaningful updates change the “last updated” date. Publish dates are never backdated.
